The west side is generally defined as the area west of I-10 and I-19. It is a combination of urban and suburban development. You will find the International Wildlife Museum, Sentinel Peak, and the Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa. Moving into the Tucson Mountains, travelers find themselves in the area shared by Saguaro National Park West, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, and the Old Tucson Studios movie set/theme park. Forty miles south of Tucson, we find Green Valley — a very nice town in which there are many retirement communities with age restrictions for residents. However, many parts of Green Valley are open to people of all ages. If you are a golfer, you have found your paradise!!
